Mark MacLeod, describes himself as “a serial startup CFO” at his popular blog startupcfo.ca
The blog chronicled Mobivox’s process of raising $11 million among other things. It was essentially perceived as a corporate blog. On April 18, Marc posted My last day, in which he indicates that he has left the company and moved on to Tungle.
I guess this is one of the potential downsides of having executives use their personal blog as a tool to promote your startup. It’s hard to be “quiet” about a little detail like leaving the company when you’ve been so vocal in general. Jeff Pulver has sort of a similar problem with his resignation from Pulvermedia today.
