It’s been a long struggle for Beth Chaim synagogue in trying to establish a permanent home. Now it’s down to the wire. They need $1.5 million by June to continue the project, or risk losing the property.
Danville, California is a very white, mostly christian, mostly republican area. It could really use some diversity. Currently, Beth Chaim rents out space in various churches to hold services.
