Check out Peripheral Visionaries

Last Spring Jonathan Askin organized a one-day meeting in Washington, DC called Peripheral Visionaries. The idea was to bring together technologists and visionaries with regulators and policy people, and to get them exchanging ideas. It was such a success that a followup has been put together for Nov 10th at the Washington Plaza Hotel.

I’ve been asked to participate in a Technologists panel called The Magician moderated by Robert Pepper, formerly of the FCC.

This meeting is a rare opportunity to experience and participate in a dialog between industry and policymakers. The list of speakers is impressive and includes Om Malik, Dave Farber, Mark Spencer, and David Isenberg. Check out the official website for more information: http://www.pulver.com/peripheral/

The panel I’m participating in includes: Niel Ransom (Board Member Overture), Mark Spencer (Digium/Asterisk), Douglas Sicker (University of Colorado), and Jonathan Taplin (USC). It should be enlightening. I hope to see you there!
