Fring, SIP, saga and more on support provided by well-hyped VoIP services

Commentors to my earlier post informed me that Fring announced support for SIP. I was loooking forward to test it, and report about it. Unfortunately, I never receive the SMS from their service so I haven’t been able to install Fring onto my phone.

So far, my emails to support@fring.com have gone unanswered, something all too common, even among often bragged about, VoIP services.

I’m still looking forward to testing Fring and reporting about it, if they’re able to get their problem solved so I can load it onto my phone.

I had the same problem downloading JaJah.

I wonder if the USA carriers are starting an anti call diversion effort?
