Fired for being ciritical of Microsoft
This AP story reports that Dan Geer was fired from AtStake one day after he and six other experts published a report that said the widespread dominance of Windows presents a security risk. No wonder we don’t see many executives going public with any views that might upset Microsoft. Bruce Schneier, who worked on the report, said many experts supported the findings of the report, but were afraid to say so publically.
